The Yards is currently not accepting proposals, but please feel free to familiarize yourself with our three separate application options:

• If you are interested in curating an exhibition/event, please go over this proposal packet. We encourage submissions of group exhibitions (no solo shows), interactive experiences, music events, open mic nights, unique activations of our space, and community-centric workshops. We welcome unconventional and novel ideas!

• If you are an individual artist and would like to be considered for future group shows, please email us at theyardschicago@gmail.com with your artist bio, statement, artist resume/CV, examples of work, and availability for the next 6 months. Generally, we won’t contact you until an opportunity is available. Submissions of this nature are always open.

• If you are another art space, platform, collective, or gallery and would like to collaborate, feel free to contact us directly with examples of past events/shows and a description of what you have in mind for the future.

We invite all interested parties to familiarize themselves with the space by attending an upcoming event and speaking with us in person prior to submitting. We look forward to working with all of you!
